Automatic Antenna Tuners

The selection of any antenna tuner needs care! You need to think about the power handling capability, the range of antenna you need to couple to, what type of feed lines, product quality, serviceability  and of course, cost.

SGC SG-230 Antenna Coupler

SGC SG-237 Antenna Coupler

This is the younger brother of the SG-230 with three major differences. The first is that it operates from 1.6 to 60MHz, the second being it is about a quarter of the size of the SG-230 and the third is the maximum allowable RF power is 100W PEP. Once again the tuner is fully waterproof to a depth of 500mm

This is an ideal mobile tuner to use with commonly available radios such as the Icom 706/7000 and the Yaesu 857. It can also be used with several models of the Codan and Barrett commercial HF mobiles.

LDG’s new KT-100 serves as a dedicated tuner for Kenwood radios: just press the Tune button on the radio. The LEDs on the front panel indicate tuning status, and will show a match in seconds, or even less of you’ve tuned on or near that frequency before; the KT-100 has 2,000 memories for instant recall of the tuning parameters for your favorite bands and frequencies.

If you have an AT-300 compatible Kenwood radio, you can simply plug the KT-100 into your transceiver with the provided cable; the interface powers the tuner, and the Tune button on the radio begins a tuning cycle. The supplied interface cable makes the KT-100 a dedicated tuner for most modern Kenwood transceivers. There are no extra cables to buy, we even include the coax patch cable from the radio to the tuner so it's ready to go right out of the box.

Flexible, low cost, easy to use and just right for your Kenwood transceiver, the KT-100 is the latest in a long line of automatic tuners from LDG that fit in right were you need them the most. And like all LDG products, the KT-100 comes with a two-year, fully transferable warranty

The Z-817 is the ultimate autotuner for QRP radios including the Yaesu FT-817(D). The Z-817 interfaces to the CAT port (ACC) on the back of the FT-817 radio with the provided cable. Tuning could not be simpler; one button push on the tuner is all that is needed and the Z-817 takes care of the rest. It will switch to PKT mode, transmit a carrier, tune the tuner, then restore the radio to the previous mode! 2000 memories cover 160 through 6 meters.

Of course, the Z-817 will also function as a general purpose antenna tuner with other QRP radios. Just transmit a carrier and press the tune button on the tuner. The Z-817 is powered by four AA internal Alkaline batteries (not included), so there are no additional cables required to use the Z-817. A coax jumper cable is also included for fast hook up. Latching relays are used so that power consumption is Zero when not tuning allowing a set of batteries to last about one year.
